Yuletide 2022

Hi! Thank you for writing something for me this year!
I like things gen or shippy, and shippy works can run from we’re in a relationship but focusing on plot to tooth rotting fluff made entirely of sugar and rainbows. I'm a total multi and poly shipper so I'm very open to pairings, threesomes, or moresomes if you're feeling shippy. Plot is welcome but totally not needed.
Tropes are great played straight or inverted some I like are:
• character interaction
• fix-it fic
• casefic or the equivalent for the fandom
• coffee shops
• crack fic taken seriously or not
• soulmates
• telepathy (accidental or a normal part of the universe)
• sex pollen
• cuddle pollen
• curtain fic
• unusual reactions to pet names
• hurt comfort that’s heavy on the comfort.
• cuddling and snuggling especially with a side of touch starvation
• the soulmate goose (a goose the comes and encourages you to confess to your soulmate by being, well, an invulnerable goose with an interest in true love)
• the Untitled Goose Game Goose being horrible
• they’re all good.
Any rating but if you go E please keep them talking to each other or dealing with the emotional aspect of sex in some other way.
Extra characters from canon or OC’s that help the plot (shop keepers, citizens in need of saving etc.) are fine but not needed. Similarly I know Yuletide uses AND matching but you don't have to include every character in your fic if you get an idea that needs to leave someone out.

Do Not Want:
• permanent character death
• sad endings
• second hand embarrassment
• hurt without comfort
• dark fic
• zombies - (Jason Todd's zombie jokes, and all the other canonical returns from the dead DC has, don't count for the purposes of this DNW)
• Shipping members of the Batfamily together (ships from outside the famiy are fine)
• Anything past 2nd base with minors (Up to you how old Jason Todd and Cassandra Cain are, DC certainly doesn't know.)
• “you can see color when you meet your soulmate” (just that one all other soulmate versions I’ve run across are fine)
• infidelity/cheating
• teacher/student especially if the student is under age
• rape
• blood play, scat, watersports, vomit.
• hanahaki
• quarantine, serious illness (things that can be cured with chicken soup and TLC are fine)

Batman: Wayne Family Adventures (Webcomic)
Characters: Any
The Batfamily is Canon and I haven't been this excited about something actually paid for by a major comics company since the first Avengers movie. I love everything about this but some highlights are: Batman types his post-it notes, cookies if you all come back unharmed, and every family interaction they've had so far. What, that's the whole comic? — ^.^; I tried.
Some possible prompts:
• A collection of other notes Bruce has left for his kids over the years
• How the others try to help Duke feel better after Damian stops guarding his door
The Fantasy Heroine Series - Jill Bearup (YouTube Videos)
Characters: Any
This is an absolutely amazing way to write a novel and I'm cheering for Rosamund and Caroline in equal measure and want to know more about Leo.
Some possible prompts:
• I would love fleshing out of the plot,
• Leo backstory, why he's hot is easy enough to tell, but why is he her enemy? Does he agree with this description or is this just Rosamund being paranoid after the tragedy in the opening chapter?
• A side quest that suddenly draws Rosamund and Leo off course that even Caroline didn't see coming
• Go full fanfic and write a coffee shop, werewolves, or college AU
• Or full meta and write Caroline reacting to her story getting fanfic (good or neutral reactions please, no "They're ruining my babies!")
Legends and Lattes
Characters: Any
You know how you sometimes get to the end of a book and want to shake it to see if more words fall out?
That's me with Legends & Lattes. I love the found family that the Scalvert's Stone managed to bring together here and I want to know more about them, and anyone else from the book if you want to bring in other characters. I will be happy with anything you can come up with, I'm sure it will be great.
Some possible prompts:
• A normal day in the life of our protagonist squad
• Backstories for any of these 4
• A perfect (or failed) date between Viv and Tandri
• Thimble's next brilliant baked good (Recipe for your version encouraged)
• Something else Cal or Tandri have created
Love & Pies (Video Game)
Characters: Any
This town is nuts and obsessed with cafes and I love it and also wonder how everything else in town is so boring that either Global Megacorp's Clean Bean Cafe or Amelia's Windmill Cafe can appear in nearly every issue of the local paper.
Some possible prompts:
• A successful date for Yuka
• Someone else solving a mystery before Amelia
• Miguel marathon movie night at the Windmill Cafe
• Kate and Edwina bonding (with or without Amelia)
• Kate and her dog meeting a real dinosaur
• Esme backstory, what other adventures has she had?
• You can also lean into the game mechanics and attempt to explain how things work in this world, for instance how does putting 2 cookies on top of each other make a strawberry shortcake? How do you lay down a floor under boxes and debris? Are saws and hammers really capable of doing all that? These are the real Appleton mysteries!
