2018 Yuletide Letter

Hi! Thank you for writing something for me this year!

This is my first time posting one of these letters so I’m sorry if it’s sparser than you were expecting.

I like things gen or shippy, and shippy works can run from we’re in a relationship but focusing on plot to tooth rotting fluff made entirely of sugar and rainbows.

My style of shipping is less I will go down with this ship “I have an Armada” and more dragon’s horde “Ooh that pairing/trio/moresome is interesting ok add that to the pile of things I ship.”

Plot is welcome but totally not needed.

Tropes are great played straight or inverted
• character interaction
• fix-it fic
• casefic or the equivalent for the fandom
• coffee shops
• crack fic taken seriously or not
• soulmates
• telepathy (accidental or a normal part of the universe)
• sex pollen
• cuddle pollen
• curtain fic
• unusual reactions to pet names
• hurt comfort that’s heavy on the comfort.
• cuddling and snuggling especially with a side of touch starvation
• whatever insanity Tumblr comes up with between now and when you star writing
• they’re all good.

Any rating but if you go E please keep them talking to each other or dealing with the emotional aspect of sex in some other way.

Extra characters from canon or OC’s that help the plot (shop keepers, citizens in need of saving etc.) are fine but not needed.

Fandom Specific Notes:
(The low number of prompts on these is not because they’re the only thing I’ll accept I just can’t think right now and figure one or two prompts is better than nothing. If a plot bunny appears please follow!)

Dragon’s Bait
• Post book Alys and Selendrlie going out into the world and having adventures. Big life and death ones or smaller ones of the I’ve never seen a marketplace this big before type.
• Honestly a coffee shop AU. Or just Selendrlie in a coffee shop. This makes me giggle and I don’t know why.

Rosemary and Thyme
• A gardening project without a mystery. They feel like something’s off the whole time.
• Someone who wants their garden to spell out something in the language of flowers and Rosemary and Laura have to figure out a way to convince them that those plants don’t go together at all.

Valdemar
• I like Alberich’s dry sense of humor, Tarma and Kethry’s friendship/sisterhood, Altra’s insistence that Karal not be serious all the time, and Ulrich and Solaris’ faith and trust in the Sunlord even through everything they saw during the reign of the False Son.
• I like all of these characters. I don’t ship any of them together but none of the potential parings are noTPs except for Karal/Ulrich and anything at all sexual involving Tarma, I take the sexless as her blade thing seriously.
• Companions, unnominated Firecats, and Kyree are all encouraged. I know I’m adding characters not proper prompts but what Valdemar story is complete without mindspeech?
• Day to day slice of life?

Sky High
• I have to admit Layla/Warren/Will is one of my favorite OT3s and I will read Will and Layla trying to make Warren lighten up or Warren and Layla trying to get Will to think before he acts a thousand and one times and still hope for more.
• Warren attempting to get either or both of the others out of a bad mood while not admitting there’s anything wrong with spending 2/3 of his time in one himself.
•Any pairing within the trio with the third as a friend is fine but I can’t stand cheating.

Ancient Egyptian Religion
• Set plotting and Thoth poking holes in his plots while only half paying attention. • Any or all of them interacting with the modern world.

Young Justice
• You don’t have to go the holiday route just because it’s Yuletide but if you do maybe something about how none of them have really had a “normal Christmas”?
• Any of them playing Pokémon Go, Jurassic World Alive, any other game that that would distract them on missions.

Do Not Want reminder so you don’t have to go back to your assignment:
• character death
• sad endings
• hurt without comfort
• dark fic
• zombies
• “you can see color when you meet your soulmate” (just that one all other soulmate versions I’ve run across are fine)
• infidelity/cheating
• teacher/student especially if the student is under age
• rape
• blood play, scat, watersports, vomit.
